A member of our group sends this message:

Just woke up at Arrow Glacier Camp at 16,000 feet with a hot cup of coffee. At these morning temperatures it is the best coffee in the world. During our evening brief we were told we will start at 4:00 am to climb the famed Western Breach Wall. Last evening we all stood looking up the Western Breach from Arrow Camp, and wondered where the trail was. But looking closer we saw the path that forms a tiny line going up to the top of the wall.

As I step out of my tent the cold blistering cold hits my face...and I am ready to start the journey to the roof of Africa.
