We just finished our hike up Mount Meru and all went well. The flamingos on the lake were beautiful and everyone photographed lots of giraffe.

Since the women’s trip it has supposedly rained and snowed a lot on Mount Kilimanjaro and, we are told, it will be much colder as well (deep breath!). Unlike the first group we have not see Kili yet, as it is wrapped in a cloud.

Tonight we will have dinner and then rethink packing one last time. We are leaving at 7am for the 3-4 hour drive. And we are holding our breath that Colin's bag arrives tonight.

If not, he will just have to test his brothers’ love for one more day.
