As the sun sets on 2012, its fitting to reflect on our favorite travel memories from 2012. Remarkable moments shared in extraordinary settings across the globe. Moments that not only lifted our spirits at the time but continue to inspire us into the future. We wholeheartedly agree with author George Santayan who wrote in his essay, "The Philosophy of Travel" that "there is wisdom in turning as often as possible from the familiar to the unfamiliar; it keeps the mind nimble; it kills prejudice, and it fosters humor".
